Friends crossing the finish line for a pair of hot jeans... and a hot booty to go in them

This.....
Is what I've felt like trying to run as of late. No energy, feeling like I weigh 80-million lbs, with big "F" for Fattie on my chest. Thoughts, ideas, advice? All is welcome.
This picture is hilarious! Thanks for the laugh! I know I feel like this many days, especially those days I don't run! BUT - what has helped me is setting goals and the first step to that is signing up for a race, and YOU DID that! So way to go, that should be a GOOD ONE! I wish I was doing the St George marathon this weekend, but was too lazy to train this summer.. KEEP up the GOOD work!
So I have been meaning to email you!! Sorry. I'm pretty much a loser that isn't running at the moment. And for no good reason, other than since we moved here, I just haven't been able to figure out when I'm going to run and where is a good place to run. I'm super paranoid about dogs and strangers. (Super scary post about Sugarhouse park! Glad you're safe!) Anyway, I initially thought I would get myself in better shape before I emailed back so I could keep up with you. Now I'm thinking there's no way I could. So, if you want to run with a slow poke trying to get back into running, I'm your girl!!!!!
It started with 6 friends with one goal: The 2008 Salt Lake City Marathon. With one marathon down, we're already getting ready for our next one, and we're finding other friends to join us in our running quests. This is a place for us to journal, share, and document our journey to the finish lines, where our reward will be great: a new pair of ridiculously expensive, but also ridiculously cute designer jeans, and hopefully, a new bootie to go in them, for every race. Everyone is welcome to post links, your own running tales, and comments, whether we know you or not! Just use the PG rating please, and thank you.
